    Our other classes include:
    • Breastfeeding Basics - Perfect for 1st time parents. How to get a comfortable latch, finding positions that work for your body and your baby, making breastfeeding simple and natural, understanding how breast milk is made so you can make plenty of it. This class can also help health care professionals gain a better understanding of current evidence based practice in breastfeeding.

    • Breastfeeding Successfully - Breastfeeding should be simple, if you know how to avoid the pitfalls. This class is a perfect companion to Breastfeeding Basics for first time parents. This class is especially important for any mother who has tried to breastfeeding in the past and faced minor or major challenges. Find out how to work with your health care providers to reach your goals. Learn ways to avoid supplementation of Breastfeeding in many special circumstances. Find out red flags in mother's or babies health that may lead to low milk supply and what to do about them. Great for the health care professional that wants to assist moms to make informed decisions.

    • Breastfeeding when you need to Be Away from Baby - This class will help you learn how to keep breastfeeding if you are returning to a job or school. Different types of pumps and their uses will be discussed. Learn how to properly store and use expressed breast milk. A supportive care situation will make things smoother, learn how to find the best one for you. Learn about other gadgets and ideas to simplify your daily routines. Ideas for how to keep going on those tough days. So many times we hear from moms, I tried to pump and it didn't work but pumping like breastfeeding is a learned art and there are more things to know then turn on the pump, come and find out what.

    • Transitions - Solids, weaning, teething, night time parenting. You've heard lots of advice now hear what the experts recommend and how make the decisions that are right for your family.

    • Eating Right for Pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Life - Making healthy eating choices now can impact your pregnancy and help prepare your body for a healthy birth and a healthy baby. Learn about simple healthy foods that have been used throughout history to make more breastmilk and prevent fussiness in babies. Find out ways to improve your diet for the whole family and continue the good eating habits your baby begins with breastfeeding.

    • It's More than One! The special considerations of breastfeeding more then one baby. This course replaces Breastfeeding Basics for parents expecting twins or higher order multiples.

    Quite breastfeeding babies are welcome at our classes but please inquirer on the policy and safety of the location if you are bringing baby along.
