Independent Breastfeeding Classes for Breastfeeding Success

We offer our independent breastfeeding classes in the Southern New Jersey Area*. Our classes have the freedom to tell you what you want to know, not what usually happens in a specific hospital.

You may want to ask other's who delivered where you are having your baby: "were they truly supported in breastfeeding?" "Did their baby baby receive formula in the hospital?" We can help you know how to work with your health care team most effectively to achieve your goals..

We offer most of our classes on a request basis. If the class you want isn't currently scheduled, you can choose the classes you are interested in our our contact sheet and we will keep you informed of upcoming sessions. If your baby is not due for months, Sign Up for our newsletter now and be informed of class options when you need them. Your seventh to eighth month of pregnancy is a great time to take your classes.

Individual classes are $30 a couple for scheduled group classes and run 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
Classes in your home can be scheduled at our mutual convenience and are $45 plus travel for an individual or couple or $100 for 1 1/2 hours (up to 6 people).
We recommend first time parents take either our Empowered Breastfeeding package or our Breastfeeding Success package to be well prepared.

Our breastfeeding classes give you a chance to be an empowered, educated advocate for your baby and their well being. Our classes give you the confidence to make Breastfeeding Successful for you and your family.

Empowered Breastfeeding Package

This package includes our two core breastfeeding classes in a group setting if available or in your home. You will take Breastfeeding Basics and Breastfeeding Successfully and receive a private review of your medical / breastfeeding history and anything in it that might impact your success.

Empowered Breastfeeding Package - $70 / couple or In Home - $75 plus travel

Breastfeeding Success Package

You can take our Breastfeeding Classes on their own but we recommend considering our Breastfeeding Success package. If you have had difficulties with breastfeeding in the past, or have heard stories of others who have had a breastfeeding challenges, this package is designed to make your experience a story of Breastfeeding Success. Included are:

Our 2 core group breastfeeding classes for you and a partner and another group class before or after your baby's birth. (see class topics)
A questionnaire and private review of your history to look for risk factors to Breastfeeding Success and discuss recommendations for your specific situations.
$10 gift certificate toward the purchase of any of our recommended Breastfeeding / Parenting Books and/or pumps or to give to a friend.
1/2 hour Breastfeeding Check Up at your home following your baby’s birth in your Southern New Jersey* Home OR $50 off a full 2 hour breastfeeding consultation in your Southern New Jersey* Home after your baby's birth if needed.

Breastfeeding Success Package - $100 / couple or In Home - $110 plus travel for prenatal portion
